REFUND/EXCHANGE POLICY

Septic Solutions, Inc. will not accept any returns without prior approval. If you have a product to be returned, you must call us first at 217-925-5992.   Products may be returned within 30 days of invoiced date for a refund (excluding shipping/handling charges) if returned within that 30 days in the original unopened box.  There will be no refunds on products that have been used.  All returned merchandise must be returned in the condition it arrived including all original packaging and paperwork in order to receive a refund, credit, or replacement item.

Should you choose a refund, we will either credit the cost of the merchandise according to your method of payment or mail you a refund check. Return shipping charges must be prepaid and are not refundable. Any items returned or any orders cancelled will be subject to a 15% restocking fee plus Septic Solutions' original expenses for shipping and handling charges.  Risers, lids, and accessories are subject to a 25% restocking fee plus Septic Solutions' original expenses for shipping and handling charges.  This restocking fee covers costs incurred by Septic Solutions during the processing, handling, and return of your order. The restocking fee is waived on any items exchanged or returned due to mistakes made by Septic Solutions, Inc. during the sale, processing, and handling of the order.

Special ordered items are not returnable.  If, for any reason, this return policy is not strictly adhered to, Septic Solutions will not be responsible for issuing any credits or refunds and will not do so on any products returned for any reason. Returns and exchanges are accepted only for items purchased from Septic Solutions, Inc. and only with prior authorization in accordance with the conditions set forth herein.

For Canada or other international returns, the shipping costs as well as the import duties and fees required to get the product shipped back to us will not be refunded.  These orders will also be subject to the conditions and fees as stated above.

LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty claims are subject to the discretion of the original product manufacturer. This limited warranty applies only to Products that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, flood, fire or other external causes, unauthorized use, or alterations or unauthorized repair. This limited warranty is not transferable to any subsequent purchaser or recipient of the Product.

Most of our effluent pumps and aerators are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified on product information sheets. In no event shall Septic Solutions be liable for any consequential damages or any labor, material, freight or expense required replacing, correcting, or reinstalling the product. Septic Solutions' liability is limited to repair or replacement of the part.

SPECIAL NOTE: Should the part that needs to be returned for warranty be a part/label that was inside any part of your septic tank, after receiving Return Authorization, it SHALL be returned to Septic Solutions, Inc. or the Manufacturer inside a plastic sealed bag. This is for the safety of both the warranty process people who work at Septic Solutions, Inc. or Manufacturer and the UPS/Mail people who are handling the product during shipping. If for any reason the warranty product that has been in contact with your sewage system is sent to us without the safety of being inside a sealed plastic bag your warranty will not be processed.

The customer shall be responsible to contact Septic Solutions, Inc. at 217-925-5992 between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Central Standard Time to receive Return Authorization. To receive Authorization you will need to provide Septic Solutions, Inc. with proof of the original purchase. Please contact Septic Solutions, Inc. prior to returning any merchandise for warranty consideration.

SHIPPING COSTS

Customer assumes all costs in shipping to us, and we assume the cost in shipping back to the customer. All replacement/repaired products are shipped UPS Ground or United States Postal Service unless a rush is requested. The cost of such a shipping upgrade is to be paid by the customer prior to shipment.

WARRANTY PROCEDURE

We suggest you contact our tech support team first to determine whether the item is indeed defective before shipping. Then contact Septic Solutions, Inc. customer support at 217-925-5992 with your return merchandise authorization (RMA) request. If the Product proves defective during the warranty period, and you follow the instructions that we will provide to you for returning the Product, we will, at our option, take one of the following actions: (1) replace the Product with either a new or a refurbished Product that is the same as or similar to the Product you purchased; (2) repair the Product using either new or refurbished parts.
For those products shipped backed to Septic Solutions, Inc. under this warranty policy and no defects are found in the product the customer will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the item back to them.

WARRANTY DISCLAIMER & LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS

All warranties are void if the product has been improperly modified, applied or installed, subjected to misuse or abuse. Except as stated herein, Septic Solutions, Inc. disclaims any  warranties express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability or warranty of fitness for a specific purpose or non-infringement of intellectual property rights. Septic Solutions, Inc. also disclaims any Liability for claims arising out of product misuse, improper product selection, improper installation, product modification, misrepair of misapplication.

SHIPPING dAMAGE cLAIMS

If an item reaches you in damaged condition, save the shipping carton and notify Septic Solutions, Inc. at once. Please do not return damaged or broken merchandise to us unless you receive our instructions to do so. This is necessary so that you do not lose your right to file a claim. All claims for damaged goods must be made with the carrier within 10 days of the invoice date. Septic Solutions, Inc. shall not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages.

ORDER CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must contain the following: First name, last name, order number, and e-mail address. This information must be identical to the information originally submitted on your order.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the cancellation of your order, providing your order has not been charged and/or shipped out. In the event that a cancellation was submitted and your order was shipped out after, you will need to follow the procedures listed in the Refund/Exchange Policy.

PRODUCT COMPLIANCE & SUITABILITY

Jurisdictions have varying laws, codes and regulations governing construction, installation, and/or use of products for a particular purpose. Certain products may not be available for sale in all areas. Septic Solutions, Inc. does not guarantee compliance or suitability of the products it sells with any laws, codes or regulations, nor does Septic Solutions, Inc. accept responsibility for construction, installation and/or use of a product. It is customer's responsibility to review the product application and all applicable laws, codes and regulations for each relevant jurisdiction to be sure that the construction, installation, and/or use involving the products are compliant.
